Pasadena, Texas (KTRK) – An 18-wheeler fire causing problems for drivers in Pasadena was cleared Wednesday morning, according to firefighters.

Video obtained by ABC13 shows smoke coming from the trailer, along Highway 225 in Red Bluff, just before 1 a.m.

Firefighters said the driver had just picked up the trailer from the port. After that, the trailer started having mechanical issues, which caused the tire to blow out and braking issues. Ultimately overheated.

It was full of clothes that were supposed to be delivered to a store, according to the firefighters at the scene.

Fortunately, there were no injuries.

Westbound lanes reopen at about 5:30 a.m.
