Britney Spears says she no longer trusts God because of her family’s treatment of her.
The “Destructive” entertainer, who spent nearly 14 years under a conservatorship under her father’s control over all aspects of her life, discussed her loss of faith in a voicemail shared on Instagram on Monday.

“God wouldn’t let it happen to me that there was a God,” as Page 6 commented before his voice was removed. “I no longer believe in God because of the way my youth and family have treated me. You don’t have to be sure of anything anymore. I’m a cynic, y’all.”
The audio recording generally focused on high school junior Jayden James, who discussed their relationship in an interview with the Daily Mail.
Jayden turns 16 this month and his more settled relative Sean Preston turns 17. Spears had two young friends with her ex, Kevin Federline, who is also valued and focused on children.
Two young people refused to go to their mother’s wedding with Sam Askari in June. Jayden said he and his relatives won’t be energizing with their mother in the future, but would like to reconnect when she’s “mentally better.”
Additionally, he said he was “just trying to be a dad” while watching his grandson, Jamie Spears, appoint Spears to conservatorship.
After Spears was released from conservatorship in November, she explored the abuse she faced under the real arrangement, which allowed her father to coordinate personal, financial and welfare decisions, and how he supported his children for more than 10 years.
Spears has accused various family members, including her mother and sister, of forgetting to step up and help her on at least several occasions.
“It annoys me that none of you look at me from time to time,” she said. “You understand how my family feels about me and you know all that. As I said, I feel that each of you secretly likes to propose something to me.”
