Harris County, Texas (KTRK) – Months after a former NFL player was charged with murder and body tampering in the death of his girlfriend, Harris County records now show details of the murder charge against him.
According to court records, Kevin Ware Jr. is believed to have killed Taylor Pomasky by strangling, cutting, and beating her.

In addition, prosecutors allege that Ware also cremated Pomsky’s body.
The latest details come more than a year after Pomaski’s disappearance in April 2021. She and Weir were dating before her disappearance.
Earlier this year, officials confirmed that the human remains found in December 2021 are those of Pomasky.
Ware was arrested after Pomasky’s disappearance and placed in custody at the Montgomery County Jail on unrelated drug and weapons charges.
