10 Nisha – Borderlands: Before the sequel

Nisha in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel plays like a real outlaw. Her maximum ability allows her to increase her weapon skills with every ability. It also allows her to lock enemies automatically. Her whip is a bit slow in terms of melee attack but is unique to her. She can also deal horrific damage to her whip when she reaches the end of her Law and Order tree.

It’s exceptional at doing massive damage but players who don’t like shooting in the thigh should steer clear of it. Much of her skills depend on her dual-use abilities and hip-fire. Those who love these aspects of shooters will enjoy its aggressive gameplay.

9 Zero – Borderlands 2

Zero is a ninja type character in Borderlands 2. He’s exceptional with long range weapons and melee damage. Its ending allows him to turn into invisible. The longer Zero remains invisible, the more damage it will do to the enemy.

Zero basically acts as a quick blast damage character. He has a lot of cool moves that stem from his ultimate ability like execution which allows him to dash forward and deal a chip that deals massive damage.

8 Mordecai – Borderlands

He was also one of the first Vault Hunters in the series to have a companion. His companion comes in the form of his best friend Bloodwing. Because the final Mordecai can send his companion to attack the enemies.

7 Salvador – Borderlands 2

Borderlands 2’s Salvador is slightly inspired by the parts of Nisha on this list. Despite this Salvador has a unique personality. He is one of the shortest characters in the Borderlands series due to stunted growth from steroid use.

He has an ultimate ability, the Gunzerker, that allows him to take out and hold any two guns in the game simultaneously for a certain amount of time. Many of his other abilities synergize well with it allowing him to take out opponents quickly. Salvador could be one of the strongest latecomers on this list.

6 Craig – Borderlands 2

Kreig is a playable psychological game that has been added to Borderlands 2 as DLC. It’s a perfect fit for anyone who wanted to build fully viable combat. Many of his skills add to his survivability and allow him to get up close and personal with enemies. His skill in movement and sheer ability allow him to go into a rampage that greatly increases melee damage.

On top of all of this, if he fully upgraded his Obsession Tree, he would be able to transform himself into a more powerful version of a Psycho that deals extra clash damage.

He can create a lot of chaos in the game because he is able to summon up to two versions of himself. These two versions are capable of causing damage in addition to damaging dishes. This allows players to target the same enemies as doppelgangers. In the late game, making them die also adds powerful buffs to the player and they can be summoned with a higher frequency.

2 Gaige – Borderlands 2

Gaige was a character that was later added to Borderlands 2. She is the only Borderlands 2 character to have a companion character with her. Her companion is a death trap that has been invoked as her ultimate ability.

The great thing about Gaige is that while she can create a really cool build with the Death Trap, she doesn’t have to. She can play with her abilities in organized chaos and use skills to create a massive damage output without having to rely on her death trap. The Death Trap upgrade is highly recommended although it’s entertaining to see it tear people apart.

1 Banana – Borderlands 3

Moze is a great character for those who really like to do big flashy damage. She acts as a tank in a giant mechanical suit, the Iron Bear. This mechanical suit is special because it has the ability to provide a safe haven for Moze’s armor to recharge. It also puts heavy firepower on enemies.

Part of what makes playing Moze so interesting is that each skill tree has different weapons that can be used and unlocked for Iron Bear. It has a versatile gameplay but is useful when you play alone or with a team. Late in the game, she does a great job dealing with significant explosive damage.
