Netflix rolled the red carpet for the return of Cobra Kai, which will present its fifth season on September 9 and celebrated with a big event. A number of the series’ stars made their way across the red carpet, and so did one of the biggest stars of All Elite Wrestling, as Dr. Britt Baker DMD attended the event and posted a quick video of her time on the red carpet. AEW fans will remember that Cobra Kai’s John Kris previously appeared in AEW as an ally of Baker, so maybe we could see Baker appear in Season 5 of Cobra Kai? We’ll have to wait and see, but in the meantime, you can watch the video in the post below.
During a previous interview with Renee Paquette’s The Sessions, Kove revealed how this entire partnership came about. Baker is a big fan of the show and the two met at an autograph show thanks to Kove’s convention agent, and soon after Kove was doing a promotion for Baker which became a huge hit on social media.

“We prepared an autograph months ago and introduced my conference agent,” Cove said. “She was great, a huge Cobra Kai fan, knew all the episodes and everything. She said, ‘Will you do this promotion for me.'” ‘ I said, ‘What’s your background?’ She says, ‘I’m a dentist.’ ‘Oh’ these are things you wouldn’t think of in a wrestler. She’s sad, ‘Would you do this promo for me, that would be cool.’ Situations are put side by side in life And just come on and say something so endearing to me as the character John Chris. I said, “Well, that’s so endearing and I’m loving and good-natured.” She’s got a massive amount of social media on her, huge. She called me a few times to do another one and I couldn’t.”
That changed when AEW came to Nashville. “This time, we were in Nashville and she wasn’t wrestling, but she was buying a wrestler who was supposed to win and I didn’t come and give her advice. ‘Finish it yourself, no mercy’ if that came,” Cove said. To the ring and do all this and they all finished yelling ‘Cobra Kai’, I walked towards me and we did it.” What should I do?” “What I told you to do. Get in there and finish it.” You go there and kick the girls a-.”
