The Simpsons confirm new disappointment episodes

While today everything was all about Disney for the creative minds behind The Simpsons, Matt Groening and his fellow creators revealed major news regarding a particular Netflix animated series. Netflix has not yet confirmed that there will be a new season of resentmentThe surreal animated series ended its fourth season earlier this year, and Groening pulled the cat out of the bag in D23 that new episodes were in the works when it came to the world of Luci, Bean, and Elfo.

resentment There are currently forty episodes available to stream on Netflix, with the first episode arriving in 2018. Taking a different stance on the somewhat mundane environment The Simpsons And the sci-fi adventures of Planet Express In Futurama, the Netflix animated series takes place directly in a medieval fantasy land where Bean struggles for her role as a princess, while also drinking the nights away. Coming into contact with the elf, Elfo, and demon from Luci’s underworld, the four seasons of the animated series took the trio into some wilderness and saw the characters evolve throughout the show’s running time.

Comicbook.com’s Jamie Jirak was present at the D23 panel focused on The Simpsons, where the creators couldn’t help but break the news that both Disappointment and Futurama New episodes have been produced as we speak.

The official description of the final season of the Netflix animated series reads as follows:

“The mystery of Dreamland’s origins – and the dangers of its future – becomes clearer as the trio – and King Zog – find themselves on personal journeys that will ultimately connect the fate of the kingdom. At the end of Part III, our heroes race to be reunited in this comprehensive ten-episode series. They will find themselves in Everywhere from the depths of Hell to the clouds of heaven and everywhere in between, including Ogreland, Steamland, Underwater, Monasteries, Insane Sanatoriums, Enchanted Forest, Dreamscape, and more. All the while, core and character puzzle pieces will reveal themselves to ardent fans.”

A possible Season 5 release date wasn’t revealed during the D23 panel, though we imagine a renewal notice from Netflix could be on the horizon following that confirmation.
