Fatal crash: Houston driver charged after RV collides with semi-truck in Virginia, leaving 2 dead and several injured, police say!

Fawker County, Virginia (KTRK) – An investigation is underway after two Houston people died, and several more were injured in an RV crash off the road in Northern Virginia.

Virginia State Police said they responded to an RV that hit a trailer on Interstate 66 at about 8:26 p.m. Thursday.

According to authorities, recreational vehicle driver Afric E Anyang, 25, of Houston, faces charges of reckless driving and driving without a license.

The accident reportedly caused an RV to slide over a bridge into several trees after it veered off the road and hit a handrail.

Anyang sustained minor injuries in the accident and was taken to hospital. Two RV passengers, 39 and 24, both from Houston, died at the scene, according to police.

Four other passengers were slightly injured, while one woman was seriously injured.

Reportedly none of the passengers in the RV were wearing seat belts.

The driver of the semi-truck was also taken to hospital for treatment for minor injuries sustained in the accident.

Police said there was a serious investigation into the incident.
