Houston, Texas (KTRK) – Royal purple LED lights were displayed throughout Memorial City Friday night in honor of the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Stretching across approximately three miles of Bunker Hill east of Beltway 8 and south of I-10, a total of 22 buildings, bridges, and garages displayed royal purple.
The Queen died on Thursday at the age of 96, the longest serving in British history, as she led her province for 70 years.
According to the statement, the lights will remain on until Saturday.
