Ubisoft has addressed various rumors about Doctrine killer remake. Needless to say, the Assassin’s Creed series is one of the biggest franchises in gaming. Ubisoft has managed to develop something that has sold over 200 million copies and even extends beyond games. So far, there have been books, live action movie, episodic games, and now Netflix is working on a series of live action and animated show. It’s unlikely that anyone would have thought that it would become this massive multimedia series when it launched on Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2007, but here we go. Recently, there have been rumors that Ubisoft will celebrate the series’ 15th anniversary by going back to where it all began, but it seems that this may not be accurate.

Given Assassin’s Creed Infinity Supposed to be a big live-service hub for the series’ future, perhaps a remake of the first game will be released alongside to get things started. So far, though, Ubisoft says that’s not happening.
