TThursday saw the death of Queen Elizabeth IIwhich automatically promoted her son, Charlesto the position of king.
The scenes at Balmoral on Thursday were equally chaotic and emotional, as the entire royal family raced to Aberdeen Airport to arrive in time.
However, not every member of the family was present, with Charles reportedly telling his son Harry not to bring Meghan Markle to Balmoral upon the Queen’s death.
A royal source told The Sun: “Charles told Harry it was not right or appropriate for Meghan to be at Balmoral at such a very sad time.”
However, this was not just a personal insult to Markle, as Kate Middleton, wife of Prince William, was not present either.
“It has been pointed out that Kate will not attend and that the number should be limited to the nearest family.”
