It’s been a long time coming, but finally, Bleach’s comeback is around the corner. The shounen anime had a grip on fans when it debuted over a decade ago, but the manga never saw its definitive onscreen representation. Soon, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will bring the story to center stage, and some reactions to the anime’s premiere have surfaced on social media following a special event.
In case you didn’t know, Studio Pierrot did a private preview of Bleach in Japan last night. Fans were given a glimpse of the show’s first two episodes along with behind-the-scenes material. And of course, netizens were quick to share their thoughts on the premiere while keeping things a bit sloppy.

They described the voice acting, pace, music and animation as amazing. “I’ve been going into this with watered-down expectations, but Episodes 1+2 blew my skeleton out of my body honestly, so I’m infinitely excited now,” they said.

On Twitter, other Fanpages were quick to compile Reactions from fans in Japan who joined the event. The consensus was excellent with many fans describing the show as having movie-like quality. The battle scenes also looked good and were given rich backgrounds. And of course, the returning voice actors have named their roles despite Bleach’s hiatus over the past decade.
Of course, all this news is music to fans’ ears. Now, they must wait and see what the bleaching has in store for them next month. Viz Media has confirmed that the anime will begin simultaneous broadcasting on October 10. At the moment, no streaming platform has been announced for the title.
