Coney Island deaths: 3 children dead after being found unconscious on beach in drownings; mom questioned by police!

Coney Island, Brooklyn – Three children were killed after they were found unconscious on a Coney Island beach Monday morning – and their mother is now being questioned by police.

Police said the 30-year-old mother took her three children into the ocean and drowned them near the Coney Island boardwalk.

At 4:42 a.m., officers found a 7-year-old boy, a 4-year-old girl, and a 3-month-old boy unconscious on the beach near West 35th Street.

They were taken to Coney Island Hospital, where all three were pronounced dead.

Officers first received a phone call at about 1:40 a.m. from a concerned family member that someone had harmed three young children.

When officers arrived at the house on Neptune Street, a man who identified himself as the father of the three children answered the door and told police he believed the mother was with the children on the boardwalk.

The police then began painting the boardwalk and the surrounding area for any sign of the mother or children.

That’s when they got a second phone call from family members who were with the mother on the driveway, about two miles from where the children were found.

The mother was “wet wet” and barefoot and did not communicate with the officers, according to NYPD officials.

She was taken to hospital for evaluation and is currently in precinct 60 where officers are questioning her.

Detectives are now questioning the mother in what is being investigated as a triple drowning.

Family members initially called 911 because the mother made statements of concern for the children’s safety.

The mother had previously been subjected to severe incidents of harassment and harassment that did not result in charges being filed. She has no previous arrests or a history of emotional distress.

She has not yet been charged.

The police are asking anyone who may have seen the mother and the children at any time last night or early this morning to call.
