After weeks of rumors, leaks, and speculation, today Nintendo has finally confirmed that its next live show will take place the next day. After dropping out of a big event in June (which is the time when the biggest presentation of the year is usually held), Nintendo fans were incredibly excited to see when the Japanese company is looking forward to holding its next big presentation. And while the rest of 2022 is already looking bright for Nintendo Switch owners, it looks like Nintendo has a few more surprises left this holiday season.
Revealed on social media, Nintendo has announced that the next live stream will officially take place on Tuesday, September 13th. The broadcast itself will take place a little earlier in the day than usual and will begin at 10:00 AM ET / 7:00 AM PT. As usual, the live stream will be viewable through streaming platforms such as Twitch and YouTube. On top of that, Nintendo has also said that Direct will last about 40 minutes in total, which means there should be plenty to show off.

When it comes to what will actually be revealed during this Direct, Nintendo has yet to specifically mention any games. Instead, she only mentioned that the presentation will “mostly” focus on games due to be released on the Nintendo Switch next winter. Based on what we currently know is coming to Switch, that means we can see more titles like Bayonetta 3And the pokemon scarlet and violetAnd the Mario + Rapids: Sparks of Hope.
In addition to these games, it has been widely reported that Nintendo will have news to share regarding some Switch projects that have been at the rumor mill for some time. Specifically, remastered Metroid Prime It seems likely that it will appear alongside the new outlets of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Wicker and possibly Twilight Princess. We’ve also heard that Nintendo may choose to share more details about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 In this Direct as well. In short, it looks like Nintendo may be sitting on a lot of major announcements coming out during this broadcast.
