In related news, it appears that the Batman Arkham series is still in the works for HBO Max despite the recent change to the streaming device. This is in addition to the Batman spinoff series Penguin starring Colin Farrell. Director Matt Reeves said the following about the projects and future of Robert Pattinson as Batman:

“We’re making this Penguin series and one of the cool things about it is Colin Farrell – it’s like you’ve never seen him before. He’s absolutely stunning and he steals the scene. Along the way, we thought we could do it.” [Oz] As a series,” Reeves previously told the Toronto Sun. So I talked to HBO Max and showed them Colin in the movie and talked to them about what it could be like, and they said, “Let’s do it.” So we’re doing that and making another series that connects to Arkham [Asylum]. We’re talking and thinking about the upcoming movie, but to be honest with you, right now, I really want the audience to connect with this. And I really think they would because I think Rob is an amazing Batman.”

As for Batman: Arkham City, it has long been considered by many as one of the greatest games of all time since it was first launched. To this day, Arkham City boasts an incredible performance 96/100 degrees on Metacriticand put it in a fairly short list of games to receive this level of critical acclaim.
