Wakanda Forever reveals first look at the full Midnight Angels costume

The D23 festivities continued well into Sunday, with Marvel revealing new costumes for some upcoming properties. These are the practical suits for the back group Black Panther: Wakanda Forever It was on full display at the Anaheim Convention Center. In addition to seeing updated suits for Ramonda (Angela Bassett) and Mbaco (Winston Duke), House of Ideas has also revealed the full Midnight Angels suit for the first time.

A splinter group from Dora Milaje, the Midnight Angels will be led in part by Ayo and Anika, who will play Florence Kasumba and Michaela Cowell in Wakanda forever, Straight. The best part of it all? The suit is totally comedy accurate.

Earlier this summer, Wakanda forever Helmer Ryan Coogler said the film honors Chadwick Boseman’s legacy with the sequel being a major tribute to the late actor.

“Chad’s passion, genius, culture, and impact he made in this industry will be felt forever,” the director told the audience at San Diego Comic Con.

We put our love for Chadwick into this movie. “We also put our passion on hold,” Coogler added. This movie has a lot of action and humor. It’s also the rollercoaster of the movie. It’s going to new places in Wakanda that we haven’t been to before, but we’re going to other corners of the MCU.”

It is not yet clear where the Midnight Angels are related to the story.

The film stars Tenoch Huerta as Namor, the king of a nation hidden under the sea, and the film also stars Dominic Thorne, Michaela Cowell, Mabel Cadena, and Alex Livanale. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Opens in theaters November 11th.
