‘The Come Up’ follows 6 young adults chasing big dreams in NYC!

If you could make your dreams come true on the streets of New York City as an adult, would you?

That’s exactly what six young creators in their early twenties are chasing after in the new docu-glimpse series, “The Come Up.”

The cast consists of a diverse group of Gen Z art genres as they navigate romantic relationships, artistic practices, and friendships in the famous downtown of New York. Series includes: Tovik Abigaku, Fernando Casablancas, Ben Hard, Claude Schwartz, Ebon Gore, and Sophia Wilson.

“It’s strange because we are 24 to 23 years old,” Abijako said. “We are still somewhat kids but adults too.”

This coming-of-age story follows the actors through their solo journeys in modeling, fashion design, photography, acting, and organizing nightlife. But there are also tears, pain, and disappointment along the way.

“This is our actual life,” Casablanca said. “We put our lives on the line for the things we believe in. So when it comes to matters of the heart or matters of your career…I feel like we put it all into it.”

“The Come Up” premieres September 13 on Freeform and is available to stream the next day on Hulu.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Hulu and this ABC station.
