America’s Got Talent’s Drake Milligan explains why he didn’t change for a different song for the end despite the alternatives

The last eleven verbs of american talents Season 17 officially presented their last performances, and judging who gets the million dollar and Las Vegas theatrical prize is in the hands of the voters. The ending marked the much-anticipated return of country singer Drake Milligan, who stunned judges and voters in the first week of the playoffs with his second original song of the season. In the end, Milligan went back to his first original AGT the test. While speaking with CinemaBlend, he explained why he hadn’t changed it to a new song.

Milligan sang his way to the end in August with Kiss Goodbye All Night, but it was his first single AGT The picnic “sounds like something I do”. Fans may have expected him to continue in that direction and perform another original song, but instead he went on to perform another song, “Sounds Like Something I’d Do.” (You can go back to the former with a Peacock subscription.) After his time on stage at the end, talk to CinemaBlend and other outlets. When I asked why he chose this song to bring it back in exchange for Kiss Goodbye All Night and if there was any alternative, he shared:

it was there. I mean, I have a record that’s coming out this week, on the 15th, and there’s a lot of new songs out there, and we’ve been looking for songs to do but then a live performance, we do Kiss Goodbye All Night, after that staging and get the energy and the lights and the pyro and all something. It’s so much fun and I feel like it elevates the song so much that I didn’t get a chance to do it with “Sounds Like Something I’d Do” in the audition and so I really wanted to give this song a chance to shine.
