WWE reveals Alba Fyre is the next challenger to Mandy Rose on NXT 2.0’s one-year anniversary

Tonight’s first anniversary on WWE NXT 2.0 should feature the show’s biggest faction at the Toxic Attraction, and they didn’t disappoint, as Jacy Jane, Gigi Doolin, and NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose headed to the ring. Rose had a lot to say about how she was the biggest thing in NXT 2.0, and they backed her up by virtue of an awesome title. Jayne and Dolin also put the Women’s Tag Team Champions aware, but then Rose got her next challenger, who was interrupted by Alba Fire, looking forward to making a statement.

Fyre made it clear that she’s ready to put some Title Gold around her waist again, facing Toxic’s face and her bat ready to go. Then I directed it to Jayne and Dolin, kicked them out of the way and went straight to Rose.

She pinned Rose to the ropes until Doolin and Jane attacked her, but she still had the upper hand, hitting them with the bat and sending the Toxic Attraction into the ring. Rose accidentally left her title in the ring but managed to grab it before Fyre got it, and it looks like Fyre will be her next challenger.

We’ll have to wait to see when exactly Fyre challenges Rose for the title, but it will likely be soon. Fyre has been looking outside in regards to the title image for a while now, and it only makes sense for her to jump back into the title scene at least once more.

However, it is unclear if Fyre will actually defeat Rose. When Rose eventually loses, Toxic Attraction will likely head to the main roster, and Jayne and Dolin have already appeared on SmackDown. Fyre held a longtime title in NXT UK, and while she has competed in the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship since then, she has not become the NXT Women’s Champion yet since the trademark transfer.
