Social media users have criticized Mayim Bialik for her share of supposed mistakes – like Call the first round “One Danger!” Ken Jennings is back to face some backlash, with parts of the fandom accusing him of showing favoritism to the current champion on the September 14 episode of… Risk!
Luigi de Guzman racked up a four-game winning streak after a runaway game on Wednesday, in which some believed he took an unfair advantage from the host. For the “Cons” category, contestants were shown a painting and asked to identify the British artist. When the attorney from Virginia began to reply, “What’s the constant?” Ken Jennings asked for clarification. De Guzman told him:

This answer was accepted, and de Guzman was awarded accordingly. The Risk! The rulebook states that “Competitors may change their responses as long as no judgment has been made by the host or judges.” The controversy over said decision occurred when contestant Harriet Wagner, in the same game, was misled and judged incorrect, despite getting the correct answer before her time expired.
Viewers voiced their opinions on Twitter, and the majority of those who commented on the situation were very upset that Jennings had allowed Luigi de Guzman to correct himself, but not the competitor. for example:

The more confused viewers didn’t like Ken Jennings’ inconsistency asking the hero to repeat himself, only then immediately cut off Harriet Wagner when she gave the correct response. This fan indicated that a change in money would have put Wagner in his potential spot to win the match directly in “Final Jeopardy!”

While it’s really nice to see the sportsmanship between the two Risk! Racers, I don’t think anyone wronged Luigi de Guzman for his actions, because he was simply playing the game, and anyone would take advantage of the chance to replay. He didn’t know that the host would react in different ways to similar scenarios.
Harriet Wagner addressed her mistake, calling the eventual winner “gracious” for offering an apology, something that acknowledges the critical backlash from the general public.

There are many examples of Risk! The fans are upset About some of the events going on in the game, but it’s always good for contestants to show such a blessing to each other when such moments come.
