Jason Momoa recently had his hair cut. At the time, he made it clear that he was doing so as a way to advocate for the environment, specifically, in an effort to persuade people to stop using single-use plastic, an issue that Momoa deeply cares about. While this may be why Momoa is promoting a manicure, he took the opportunity to do something else with his freshly shaved head, and he has a new tattoo on the side of his head.

When Momoa originally cut his hair, it was hard to know how far he would go with his environmental statement. The haircut seemed important, but it was hard to tell if he was going to come out of this with shorter hair or really short hair.
But it now appears that the purpose of the haircut was actually business related. Momoa made a comment in the clip that “The War Chief is coming.” war boss It’s Momoa’s upcoming series on Apple TV+, and show producer Justin Chon commented on the post with several fiery emojis.
It raises the question whether or not this tattoo is permanent. It might be something he did just for the show, Momoa’s second project for Apple TV+ subscribers, which will disappear once the show ends. But perhaps Momoa decided to seize the opportunity to get a traditional tattoo that he would keep. He can always grow his hair back if he wants to keep the tattoo but needs to get past it for other roles.
We can see now that he still has long hair, but not in the way he did before. His hair is here on top, so everything will be under his hat. And if he let it all come down, it would probably still be under his shoulders, at least on the back of his head. But he shaved the sides of his head, which allowed his new tattoo to be drawn.
Perhaps the tattoo was the real reason for the haircut, and Jason Momoa decided to draw attention to it to help spread his environmental message. But this does not negate the environmental message. Even in this post, Momoa is referring to the single-use plastic and in the video he is holding a reusable water bottle, something he apparently got from Hawaiian Airlines.
