Los Angeles — Summer is coming to an end, but weekend nights on ABC are about to add to the excitement!
Starting next week, the second season of Emmy-winning “Abbott Elementary,” a new drama starring Academy Award-winning Hilary Swank, “Celebrity Jeopardy!” All-new. And much more premiere.
One big change this fall: ABC is promoting its comedy night into Wednesdays, moving “Abbott Elementary,” to anchor the evening at 9/8c. He joins major comedy network “The Conners” (8/7cpm), “Goldbergs” (8:30/7:30c), and “Home Economy” (9:30/8:30c).
“Bachelor in Heaven” is moving from its regular summer spot and will now air two nights this fall, starting Monday at 8/7 p.m. to replace “Dancing with the stars“which moves to Disney +.

Trivia lovers will still get their daily dose of “Jeopardy!” But the network is adding a weekly prime-time celebrity release of the popular game show. “Celebrity Danger!” It will air on Sundays at 8/7c p.m., leading to the “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” at 9/8c p.m.
Get ready for a new series written this fall. “Alaska,” a new drama starring Hilary Swank as a newspaper reporter, will air Thursday nights at 10/9 p.m. in Plum Spot after the long-running drama “Grey’s Anatomy.”
Also, “The Rookie: Feds,” a new sequel to “The Rookie” with Niecy Nash, will air every Tuesday at 10/9 p.m.
‘Big Sky’ with Reba McEntire joining the cast moves to Wednesdays at 10/9c
“The Wonder Years” and “A Million Little Things” return mid-season. That’s also when we’ll see the debut of a new comedy directed by Gina Rodriguez called He’s Not Dead Yet.
