Lightyear interactive robot toy comes from Robosen

Robosen, a collectibles company looking to innovate in robotics, announced this week that it has teamed up with Disney and Pixar to bring a new collectible Buzz Lightyear robot to market. Pre-orders for the game, which is currently priced around $650, began yesterday, with full details and a place to pre-order at buzz.robosen.com. The robot will ship in the spring of 2023. There’s already an “Infinity Pack” available for hundreds of extra dollars, which includes some extra accessories and options. The retail price for the standard is actually $799, making the pre-order price a savings of $150, while the limited edition Buzz Lightyear Infinity Pack available is a pre-order saving of $250 off the standard $999, with both models requiring a $99 deposit.

The game features sound and other audio clips from Light year, and plenty of interaction, including voice recognition that will allow you to have short conversations with Buzz. It is also programmable and can be controlled from a mobile app.
