One Piece Odyssey is the next installment when it comes to video games featuring Eiichiro Oda’s popular Shonen franchise, with this upcoming entry featuring an original story created by Mangaka who steals Luffy and the powers of the Straw Hat Pirates. While this new game will feature many new characters and environments, the latest trailer for Epic He reveals that familiar places from the anime will appear as the Straw Hats’ memories are used against them on this mysterious island.
One Piece Odyssey Coming to Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox Series X/S and PC on January 13, 2023, with the new video game introducing the island of Waford alongside a mysterious new character in Lim. Created by Mangaka Eiichiro Oda, Lim can steal the abilities of the Straw Hat Pirates themselves, and apparently from the latest trailer, it will involve Luffy and his fellow crew members trying to regain their lost power in much of the game.

If you are not familiar with a story One Piece OdysseyPanda Namco has revealed the official description of the following chapter of the video game that weaves a whole new story for the Straw Hat Pirates as they find themselves wrecked on an island they have never seen before during their travels in the Grand Line:
During their journey, a huge storm in the sea swallowed the straw hats led by Monkey D. Luffy. They ended up on a mysterious island full of nature amid the storm and separated from each other. A new adventure journey filled with wonders of raging nature, powerful enemies and strange encounters with the locals of the island. Team up with Luffy and his crew to sail again!”
