Unidentified 26-year-old woman dies after falling from pickup truck on Grand Parkway in Montgomery County on SH 99 at 1485!

Houston, Texas (KTRK) – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said a woman died after falling from a pickup truck while driving with an acquaintance early Saturday morning.

Representatives responded to a call that a woman fell from a vehicle at Grand Parkway SH 99, FM 1485 at approximately 2 a.m.

Upon arrival, units found a Ford pickup truck parked in the U-turn aisle with the victim on the ground. Representatives said medical staff performed CPR on the 26-year-old but were unable to revive her and declared her dead.

The MCSO and Montgomery County Police 4 Constables held the scene until the Public Safety Department arrived.

The woman was reportedly in the van with a friend who spoke to officials at the scene.

The friend told officials that the woman fell through the door while he was making a spin under the Grand Parkway, according to the DPS defender.

A field sobriety test conducted by DPS revealed that the man was intoxicated and had been taken into custody. It was not clear if the man had been charged.

The truck has been removed from the scene and taken to Secure Inbound for county attorneys for further investigation.

The identities of the man and woman have not been revealed.
