infinite aura 343 Industries is dropping another of the game modes they introduced in Season 2, one that “many players enjoyed”. This mode is Land Grab, and if you enjoy playing it, you’ll need to participate in a few more matches between now and September 20, because then it will be removed. The infinite aura The team said the mode will return at a later time as part of an event, after which players will see it again as part of Quick Play, but not as its own standalone playlist.
The removal of Land Grab was addressed this week in the latest overview of the September playlist update. Land Grab has had its own section of the blog post confirming its removal with 343 Industries saying that interest in the situation is “steadily declining” since its arrival during Season 2.
“On Tuesday, September 20, the Land Grab playlist will be swapped out of matchmaking,” 343 industries said. “Although we know that many players have enjoyed this new mode introduced in Season 2, at this point it is steadily declining and starting to reduce the quality for a positive player experience.”
For those who have enjoyed Land Grab at times and are sad to see it take off even if it hasn’t been played enough to warrant its own playlist slot, fear not: Game mode will be back later in the month. We’ll see that a little later in November.
“Land Grab will be back as part of the Intrenched event with the fifth week beginning on September 27, and the final week set to begin on October 25,” the post said. Looking ahead, Land Grab will enter Quick Play as part of the upcoming Winter Update on November 8th.
