Red Dead Redemption Remaster’s new “Leak” scandal is being quickly debunked

New rumor related to one of the Rockstar Games Red Dead Redemption It was quickly dropped. As of this morning, a major leak linked to the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series has started circulating online. In the wake of this leak, it was briefly thought that a fresh look at a modified version of Red Dead Redemption It also happened to have resulted from this same breach. As we have now learned, this is not the case after all.

Not long after the massive day GTA 6 Leak, new photos of what appeared to be remastered Red Dead Redemption It started spinning online. as a user videotech_ On Twitter he was quick to note that these images did not originate from Rockstar Games at all. Instead, they happened to come from someone who was working on a fan-made remaster RDR. This was indicated in particular by the appearance of a certain UI element seen in some of the images. Specifically, this item was said to be related to the Xbox 360 emulator, which all proves that this “leak” was nothing more than a fan mod.

Another way we know this rumor is false comes from the reports we’ve been hearing in recent months. Specifically, several Rockstar insiders shared that the studio is entirely focused on developing GTA 6 at the moment. While some plans may be in place earlier to be reworked Red Dead Redemption or an upgraded version of Red Dead Redemption 2 For the PS5 and Xbox Series X, those plans have presumably been cancelled. Although one day we could have a new version of RDR For modern platforms, it seems a lot like something we shouldn’t expect to see anytime soon.

Do you still hope that one day Rockstar will look for a remake or remake Red Dead Redemption? How do you feel about this imaginary “leak” situation? Let me know for yourself either in the comments or you can connect with me on Twitter at Trustworthy.
