House of the Dragon Midseason trailer reveals a long-awaited time jump

Only the younger characters in . will see the time jump Dragon House Get new actors. It is clear that all the young children have older versions, along with Rhaenyra, Alicent, Laena and Laenor. There will be no casting change for all characters who were already adults before the time leap.

D’Arcy and Cooke did not appear in Dragon House Up to this point, however, they have been described as two of the show’s main stars right from the start. Prior to the series’ premiere, Cook told ComicBook.com how the relationship between Aliscent and Rhinera would change by the time she first appeared in the series.

“[Rhaenyra Targaryen and Alicent Hightower are] “Best, best, and best childhood friends,” Cook told us. And there is a deep and intense love that can only happen when you have your first boyfriend and they are intrinsically reflective of you, but then they are the complete opposite of you as well. My father is the king’s hand and his political ambitions know no end. And so when Rhinera’s mother dies, the queen dies, he sees this as a wonderful opportunity, and unfortunately, I’m lost.”
