Jujutsu Kaisen 0 follows the hero who came before Yuji Itadori, Yuta Okkotsu, who had a tragic origin that included transforming his lost love into a monstrous supernatural force bound to his soul. With Shonen prequel hitting the top ten when it comes to the biggest animated movies at the box office, the movie made its way to Crunchyroll if you didn’t have the chance to catch it in theaters. With the arrival of Season 2 next year as MAPPA is working on an anime adaptation, it’s time to be Jujutsu Kisen admirer.
Jujutsu Kisen 0 It was based on the initial show created by Gege Akutami at “The Tokyo Metropolitan School of the Artistic Curse,” which was released before Jujutsu Kaisen appeared in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump. Upon arrival in 2017, the manga’s story was translated into the film, though Shonen added a few extra scenes to help hide the story of Yuta and his classmates who fought against Suguru Geto and his dream of eliminating all those who couldn’t use the cursed power.

For the second season of Jujutsu KisenExpect 0 events to affect actions in some unique ways as Yuta Okkotsu’s story certainly isn’t over when it comes to the Shonen series. In a recent promotional photo, MAPPA revealed that the season will delve into the past of teacher Satoru Gogo, back in his younger days when he considered Geto to be a friend. Needless to say, their friendship doesn’t quite end on a great note considering the events of the prequel movie.
The official description of this prequel movie after Yuta Okkotsu reads as such from Crunchyroll:
“Yuta Okotsu, a nervous high school student, attends the mysterious Tokyo Jujutsu High School under the supervision of Satoru Gogo after being haunted by a blacksmith for reviewing the curse of his childhood friend.”
