She-Hulk Director Concerns About Remaining Season 1 ‘It’s Not What You’d Expect’

We’re past the middle of the first season of She-Hulk: Attorney at LawThe series was an innovative Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) adaptation of history preserved and set within the pages of Marvel Comics. There were plenty of questions about how to rock the series’ remaining four episodes, from when Matt Murdock/Dardeville (Charlie Cox) would make his cameo, to how Jane’s superhero origin story would eventually climax. while talking to ComicBook.com‘s phase zero Podcast about her work on the series, episode 5-7 director Anu Valia joked that the remaining four episodes wouldn’t be what fans expected.

“Yeah, I’m just excited,” Valia revealed. “I think the rest of the season is going to be fun and different, and not ideally what you’d expect. And so I hope people will be surprised and say a little bit, ‘Oh, they’re enjoying this.'” “So keep watching it. I really think it will be fun. I hope people will like it.”

Valia also quipped that it would be fun to move forward on Jen’s superhero journey, especially given her view of identity and personal agency.

“I won’t share any spoilers, because I think you’ll love watching [it]Valia continued. And honestly, I think it would be fun to go on that trip with her, but I think the nice thing about the show is that it’s so funny. In addition, the gallery is very interested in exploring these very complex ideas of identity. And how do you have an identity that has been pushed into you where you sometimes love, but sometimes make you feel bad about the other side of yourself? This is a very complicated idea. And I think the show wants to go deeper in that way. So it’s pretty cool.”
