WWE’s Xavier Woods is set to appear on the Celebrity Wheel of Fortune

When WWE Superstar Xavier Woods isn’t busy ditching the ropes, he’s often seen on UpUpDownDown or on G4 TV, but now he’s about to appear on one of the beloved TV game shows. During tonight’s WWE NXT show, a commercial for the new season of the Celebrity Wheel of Fortune aired, fans spotted Woods as a contestant on the show during the new season. It’s unknown what episode he’ll be part of and at the moment I can’t track down the ad on social media yet, but @itsmekelsey_x took a screenshot of Woods in the commercial, which you can check out for yourself in the post below.

The Celebrity Wheel of Fortune season premieres on Sunday, September 25, and will air on ABC and then air on Hulu. Now, while Woods can’t be seen in their social media promotions just yet, the latest promo from the show’s upcoming season features a host of other big names.

The promo from their official Twitter account includes Tiki Barber, Mark Duplass, Kevin McKidd, Lauren Ash, Francia Raisa, Jenifer Lewis and Snoop Dogg. There will definitely be more Superstars to appear throughout the season, and who knows, maybe Woods won’t end up being the only WWE Superstar to appear all season. You can check out this promo in the post below.

Woods is always busy, and his latest project has combined his love for gaming and wrestling. This project is Arena, a show featuring gaming characters who collaborate with WWE Superstars to create the ultimate team and take on a opposing duo to win the title. The game they play changes from episode to episode, and stars like Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, Kofi Kingston and Liv Morgan. During a recent conversation, I had the opportunity to speak with Woods about bringing the Arena back and including some WWE style.

“Multiple versions of this have been in the works since I started UpUpDownDown. I always felt there was a similar resonance in the wrestling space if you’re a fan, and the gaming space if you’re a fan,” Woods said. “I feel like we’ve all had to fight through certain things, like your high school grad years, or by being a kid, and ‘Oh, you still watch wrestling,’ or ‘Oh, you still play video games,’ and then when you’re on On the flip side, these geeks fought the exact same battle and we are now adult geeks, and all things are commonplace now. I really enjoy holding the mirror in front of the fans so they can see pretty much the same kind of atmosphere and so I want wrestling fans and video game fans to get along because then we can become the biggest fan base and pretty much take over everything and then it’s all Something wrestling and video games wherever you are.”

“I’ve wanted to do something like this for a very long time, obviously from UpUpDownDown, having story events and competitions and tournaments and all the crazy and forward-looking phenomena with everyone, it’s something that has been really at the cutting edge of being able to do that now with the Arena at G4,” Woods said. It’s like a dream come true, honestly, because now we’re at the point where we have a whole bunch. We have guests coming. There’s people running the cameras, there’s CO2 kicking, there’s music, it’s more exciting than I ever thought, it’s a full TV show, so it’s really cool to be a part of it and to be able to do that in the G4. “
