2-year-old found dead in car: Bolanle Fadairo charged with murder, evidence tampering in man and baby’s killings due in court!

Harris County, Texas (KTRK) – A man accused of shooting a father to death and then stealing the victim’s SUV, which contained his two-year-old son, is expected to appear in court Thursday and face serious charges.

Polanli Vadero, 38, was charged with two counts of murder, as well as tampering with evidence.

On Thursday morning, Houston police released an unidentified photo of Federo. ABC13 also has an exclusive video of his arrest, which happened just before 5 a.m. Wednesday.

Fadeer is accused of shooting 38-year-old Michael Essien to death after an altercation in front of a strip center in Building 5500 in El Camino Del Rey and Chimney Rock on Tuesday.

Then he drove off in the Essien SUV with the victim’s two-year-old son still in the back seat. The SUV was later found abandoned and the child who died inside it.

Shipping documents said the car was locked and the windows folded as temperatures reached 90 degrees.

Vadhir allegedly tried to destroy some of the text messages, records say.

ABC13 spoke with Essien’s sister, Jesse. She said he is married and has two more children, a 5-year-old son and a one-week-old baby.

“Michael has never argued with anyone. Michael would take his shirt off and give to others. He gives his last year to other people. All I need is my brother,” Jesse said.

A request has been made to refuse bail in this case.
