A new She-Hulk villain has been teased for the first time in Avengers: Age of Ultron

While the Marvel Cinematic Universe was full of original stories, none of them were completely formed She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, with the Disney+ exclusive series that brings to life the genesis of Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) superheroes. Along the way, the series has played with the past, present, and future of the MCU and even bigger canon Marvel Comics in some wild ways — and the newly released Episode VI was no exception. The episode laid the groundwork for an unexpected villain group to appear in the series — a group that, oddly enough, was briefly referenced nearly a decade ago in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The episode reveals the existence of Intelligencia, a Reddit-like website filled with various forums – including a private anti-She-Hulk forum filled with death threats and other obscene messages. The website appears to be a new way for the series to tackle the misogyny and vitriol scene online, something that adds an eerie wrinkle to the fact that the group has been hinted at very briefly. Omar Ultron. In the Avengers profile on Ulysseus Klaw (Andy Serkis) in the movie, it is indicated that Klaw is a former member of Intelligencia.

Klaw is certainly a subtle comic member of the group in the comics, which makes him listed on his profile as an indirect reference in the early days of the MCU is somewhat unsurprising. At least, the intelligence is back Strong woman It’s just a whole new interpretation of the group – at most, it might hint that Klaw didn’t have the most progressive opinions before his on-screen death in Black Panther.

Created by Jeff Parker and Paul Pelletier in 2009 Falling Structures: Alpha #1, Intelligencia is a group of Marvel lore’s smartest super-villains, who work together to cause evil that can benefit them all. Formed and initially disbanded, they are back together after the events of the Hulk World War, led by MODOK and The Leader. Their goal in the fight against the Hulk was to create their powerful being through gamma rays and cosmic radiation, and their work led to the creation of Red She-Hulk, A-Bomb, and Amadeus Cho. This is directly related to She-Hulk in the 2010 series Hey hulkswhich sees Jane and Lyra/She-Hulk, the future daughter of Bruce and Tundra from another war-torn land in the multiverse, hunt down members of the Intelligence and bring them to justice.
