Netflix series Dahmer is the #1 TV show but some viewers say it makes them sick

This week saw Netflix debut its latest series on serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer. Having previously released a docu series that tells his story, the operator has now released a serial drama The Beast: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story Fan-favorite actor features Evan Peters in the title role. All 10 episodes of the series are now available to watch and although it was only available for one day, the show is already the #1 series on Netflix. Subscribers are already fascinated by the series and Peters’ portrayal, but many find its shocking details too much to handle, even laughing that it makes them sick. Between 1978 and 1991, Jeffrey Dahmer took the lives of seventeen innocent victims. Dahmer – The Beast: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story is a series that exposes these absurd crimes, and centers around disenfranchised victims and their communities affected by the systemic racism and institutional failure of the police that have allowed one of America’s most notorious serial killers to continue a killing spree in full view of more than a decade.
