Spring, Texas (KTRK) – A man accused of assaulting and stripping women’s shorts has been arrested in a gym parking lot.
Eyewitness news cameras were present as Baloch Yousef was handcuffed and detained on Friday afternoon.
The 33-year-old has been charged with indecent assault. While Yusuf was put inside a police cruiser, he told ABC13 reporter, Pooja Lodha, that he did not assault anyone.
“These criminals and predators don’t care if you are a victim,” the victim said. “If you have a victim mentality, you will lose.”
Day said she was about 100 feet from the front door of Planet Fitness in the spring when he allegedly attacked Youssef.
It happened around 8:20 a.m. on Friday, September 16th.
“He’s like, ‘Hey.’ He came straight to me, put his hands on my hips, and started pulling my pants down. Immediately. I could only grab one side of my pants to hold them, and the other side managed to get them,” Day said.
But Dai resisted and threw Joseph to the ground.
My automatic reaction is, ‘I’m going to make it in front of the camera. I won’t let him get away with it. “I just took out the camera, opened the door of Planet Fitness and started filming it,” Day said.
When the 4th District Constable saw the video, they knew who it was.
Joseph is a convicted sex offender who lives half a mile from a gym.
He was convicted of aggravated robbery, wounding a child, and prostitution of a child under the age of 18.
“My first instinct was, ‘I wish I wouldn’t hurt his mother.’ He didn’t seem to be in the right mind, but to know he had a pattern of this behavior, he had to be off the streets,” Day said. “I have another view on where he should be now.”
