AEW and former WWE Bobby Fish participate in Impact Wrestling for the first time on Victory Road

Tonight’s wrestling lineup was deep, with fans presenting shows and events from WWE, AEW and Impact Wrestling, and Impact shocked everyone when they brought in a star who has now worked for all three companies. At tonight’s Victory Road event, the Zone of Impact got a huge surprise when Bobby Fish took to the ring, and he had a lot to say. In addition to greeting fans and talking about the locker room, Fish appeared to be addressing his recent comments on CM Punk and calling for people’s legitimacy, and the audience was all over him. You can watch Impact for the first time below.

Woo! Is it hot in here? Actually, I think that’s probably all I’ve been feeling lately. Well, in case anyone here doesn’t know, I’m Bobby Fish. And it seems lately that I’ve turned into Kind of a controversial thunderbolt, and I’m surprised because the truth is.. I never really considered myself a controversial man. I never really thought of that. Myself as a problem. You know, I’m a guy who does his job well.”

“Honestly, after more than 20 years, I’m not here for bullshit,” Fish said. “Was that ok? Can I say like this here? I mean let’s think about this. The effect can’t fire me. I don’t work here! And that brings me to my next point.”

Fish reiterated that he does not work at Impact, although he said he had been observing the locker room for a while, then took another shot at others he had worked with in the past.

“Although I don’t work here, I’ve been keeping an eye on the locker room there again, because I was the man who was never afraid to call someone, to call someone for being less than legit, that locker room over there again full of legitimate men. Guys I know are going to cycle those ropes and they’re going to try it out and it’ll be everything they’ve got and they know what they’re doing and they’re not here pretending to be funk,” Fish said.

We’ll have to see where it goes from here, but it looks like Fish is part of Impact Wrestling going forward, and he’s already off to a great start.
