Anyone who is a fan of John Stamos knows that the actor is a huge fan of all things Disney. He’s a frequent visitor to the parks, does a lot of work on many of the Disney shows, and also owns an elephant from the Dumbo attraction, because who wouldn’t if given the chance? Disney star + big shot He is such a big fan of Disney characters that he says Walt will be his ultimate dinner companion, and he dined with him once, but he didn’t know it.
John Stamos said Hey ho In a recent interview, he said his dream dinner guest would be Walt Disney, but then revealed what time he came close to that dream, by having dinner with Tom Hanks. Apparently, Stamos and Hanks had dinner together a few years ago, while Hanks was in the middle of production at Saving Mr. BanksWhere he played Walt. Hanks is great in the role, and does such a great job of pulling off the look as Walt, that it’s a little surprising that Stamos didn’t make the connection. Looks like the morning after dinner was actually filming time at Disneyland. In the movie, Walt tries to use the park to beat PL Travers, played by Emma Thompson, which doesn’t really work. Stamos says Hanks had a hard time not telling him he was playing Walt when they met the night before.
Honestly, if I ever had the chance to dine with Walt Disney or Tom Hanks, I’d have to think about it. They both will almost certainly make wonderful companions who will have a lot of interesting things to talk about during their mealtime. Although having dinner with another big Disney fan like John Stamos would also be a lot of fun. We can discuss the campaign to get Disney World to name a drink after him.
Someone might follow in Tom Hanks’ footsteps, as we know Disney is working on a movie about creating Disneyland, which means someone will play Walt Disney on screen again. Once that happens, maybe John Stamos can take him and Tom Hanks to dinner to talk about playing Walt Disney. It is as close as possible.
