Houston crime: Man wanted after allegedly robbing cellphone store on MLK at gunpoint in city’s southeast side!

Houston, Texas (KTRK) – Police are searching for a man accused of robbing a cell phone store at gunpoint in southeast Houston.

On September 20, an unknown man walked into a cell phone store in the 6900 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Surveillance video shows the man walking toward the store employee, pulling a gun, and demanding money from the cash register.

That was when the suspect took the money from the cash drawer and forced the employee back to the back office, where he pulled the money out of the safe.

The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction. Described as a black man between 30 and 36 years old. He had a crew haircut, a brown and white handkerchief, a white shirt, black pants, and black shoes.
