It is worth learning how to delete contacts in iOS 16 because Apple has made it much easier to check and get rid of people’s details in the latest version of iOS.
Before that, deleting a contact from top iPhones meant opening their contact card, selecting the edit menu, and then clicking the delete button at the bottom of the page. That’s three full clicks and swipe up at least. But with the introduction of iOS 16, you can do it in just two clicks, and without leaving the main contact list, making it easier for you to go back to sifting through your many sworn friends, colleagues, family members and archenemy.

1. Or not, Open the Contacts app. You can do this by opening it directly through the home screen or the app library, or by eavesdropping on middle tab At the bottom of the phone app.
2. When you find the respective contact you want to get rid of, Click and hold until it appears in the foreground in the context actions menu. Currently Faucet delete contactwhich are helpfully highlighted with red text at the bottom of your list.
Thats all about it! You can still go a long way by clicking on a contact to open their contact card, clicking Edit and then scrolling to the bottom of the page to delete them, but it’s not easy. If you know that the contact has to go, the above process will allow you to get rid of it quite simply.
