We believe deeply in the potential of Project Dagger and are now committed to continuing development within our self-publishing pipeline,” writes Wojciechowski. “The game is still in pre-production – our team is now focused on closing the game and combat loops and moving from UE4 to UE5. I am aware that this decision will add investment to us, but self-publishing is part of our strategy. Of course, we are not ruling out working with a new publisher if This was creating a compelling business opportunity.”
No reason was given for Take-Two’s decision to walk away from the project.
