Houston, Texas (KTRK) – A low overhead power line has closed the southern and northern lanes of Interstate 288 in McGregor, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

The video above is a 24/7 live stream on ABC3.

On Wednesday, TxDot said crews are working to get the lines back to normal in order to reopen the highway.

Houston Transstar cameras showed traffic along the highway being heavily bolstered. According to a tweet from Drive 288, CenterPoint and the Houston Fire Department are at the scene.

It is unclear how long it will take crews to repair the suspended low power line.
