How to Quickly Undo Edits in iOS Photos

Thanks to iOS 16, iPhone photographers can finally undo edits in iOS Photos quickly and easily. It doesn’t seem like a huge deal, I know, but for anyone who regularly loves editing photos on the iPhone, it’s actually a very useful little feature.

While iPhones are some of the best camera phones out there, and have long come with a powerful editing feature built right into their Photos app, this feature wasn’t (and actually still isn’t) perfect. One of the annoyances I regularly encountered is that there is no way to quickly undo a single edit. If you adjust the exposure of the photo, for example, to undo the change, you will either have to slide the exposure adjustment scale back to its previous position, click Cancel to discard any changes since it was last saved, or click Back to take the photo back to its state. original. None of these were perfect.
