We all turn to watching the fifth episode of Andor online with a lot of aversion. Cassian Andor has a new party, and while he’ll be relieved to learn that seemingly devious justice lover Syril Karn is rooted, there’s a new villain emerging.

This is the first episode we haven’t watched yet (our Andor review covers episodes 1-4 in spoiler-free detail), so we’re just as eager as you to see how Cassian works with the likes of Vel (Faye Marsay), who really hates all of his existence so far. Our excitement is more focused, though, on Arvel Skeen (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), where we needed more Richie from The Bear. We didn’t expect him to appear on the Star Wars project.
But back in the new face of mistrust, we’ve just met Lieutenant Deedra Miro (Denis Gough) of the Imperial Security Bureau in a position already built to make us sort of understand her. While she is on the right track in the Empire’s fight against the uprising, the world of Imperial Men doesn’t seem to care.
Also, are we going to attend the Moon Muthma (Genevive O’Reilly) party that she throws for her husband? We wonder if Miro, or someone else we don’t trust, would be a surprise guest.

Star Wars: Andor Trailers
The latest (and possibly final) trailer for Endor is about assembling a scattered group in order to rebel. It also hints that some are not more eager to go to war with the Galactic Empire than others.
Andor’s full official trailer offers a first glimpse of the returning Saw Gerrera, and reveals that Stellan Skarsgård’s Luthen Rael is a good guy:

Star Wars: Andor Cast
The Star Wars: Andor team is led by Diego Luna, who plays Cassian Jeron Andor, a soldier, pilot and intelligence officer for the Rebel Alliance. Alan Tudyk will reprise his voice role as Cassian’s robotic K-2SO owner.
Genevieve O’Reilly also reprises her long-running Star Wars role as Moon Muthma, the leader of the Rebel Alliance.
For the new faces, Stellan Skarsgård was chosen as Luthen Rael, who appears to be a founding member of the Rebel Alliance. But Fans on Reddit (Opens in a new tab) They speculate that he will play bounty hunter Dengar, who has appeared in the animated series The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, and The Clone Wars.
Andor’s other cast members include Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, and Kyle Soller.
At D23, we learn that Soler is playing the villain. According to his words, his character is the latest in the “history of the villains you love to hate.”
Gael Garcia Bernal (Opens in a new tab), the co-actor of Luna from Y Tu Mamá También, was joking about how much he wanted to appear on the series as one of Andor’s “lost brother or something.” So tick this under “nice if it happens, but not a sure thing”.
Will other Rogue One members appear in Andorra? It’s highly unlikely that we’ll see any of Cassian’s actual Rogue One teammates, like Jen Erso (Felicity Jones) or Body Rock (Riz Ahmed). However, O’Reilly’s return as Mon Mothma gives us hope to see Jimmy Smits as Bail Organa.
Additionally, Hayden Christensen is reprising his role as Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. So it is not out of the realm of possibility that it can appear in Andor.
The sizzling reel denotes Andor’s breadth and depth, with the Creatures section working over 200 named characters.
Star Wars: Andor Conspiracy
The series takes place five years before the events of Rogue One, which takes place before the events of Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope.
The 2016 movie follows the story of a team of rebel fighters who embark on a dangerous mission to steal the building plans for the Death Star, a supernatural weapon destroying the planet of the Galactic Empire. As a longtime agent of Rebel, Cassian helps lead the mission along with Jyn Erso.
In Rogue One, Cassian revealed that he’s been fighting as a rebel since he was six, so Andor’s series could include flashbacks from his childhood.
We might also see the origin story of the Kasian K-2SO robot, a former Imperial Enforcement robot reprogrammed to aid the rebels.

The crew seems to have turned the café into a place we’re not fully familiar with, so it may be that the chain is drawing new territories.
