Color-changing Xbox controller ‘Luna Shift’ leaked

Less than a week ago, Microsoft officially revealed Mineral Cameo as a new color for the Xbox console, but more special colors appear to be emerging after a recent leak revealed a new color-changing Xbox console.

As I mentioned GamesRadara Twitter user Recently shared two screenshots of the Xbox Series X console | S unannounced called Lunar Shift. The leaker claims they spotted it on an Amazon listing, but the console is not currently listed on Amazon.

According to the shared footage, the console has a golden color, but in fact it changes with light and movement. We can understand from the screenshots that movement or light is causing the console color to become lighter or darker. The back of the console is black, but it features a colorful textured grip that helps you hold the console firmly in your hands.

So far, we haven’t seen anything official from Microsoft or Xbox on the Lunar Shift console, but there’s a chance we’ll get an official announcement in the following days as the same scenario happened with the Mineral Cameo Xbox console.

If the leak turns out to be true, the Lunar Shift will be the first Xbox console to interact with motion and light, but it remains unknown if this feature will increase the console’s base price compared to the regular one.

Microsoft and Sony recently made some big moves in the event of announcing new accessories for their flagship gaming consoles. Microsoft recently revealed a lower-level version of its Elite controller which comes with fewer customizable parts and costs less than the Elite 2 Series. On the other hand, Sony announced its first customizable controller for the PlayStation 5 called the DualSense Edge, but it is still not on the release date.

In addition to the consoles, the leaks indicate that Sony is also planning to release a new version of the PlayStation 5 in 2023, which will weigh much less than the current versions of the console. However, it has not yet been officially confirmed.
