How to Scan Documents on Samsung Phones or Tablets
- Open the camera app
- Point the camera at the document you want to scan
- Press the yellow “T” icon
- Choose the area you want to scan
- Click Save

1. Launch the Camera app and then Point the lens at the document you want to scan. A yellow box should appear around the document.
2. To scan the document, Click on the yellow “T” icon..
3. You will now see your document inside a yellow frame. to me Expand the erasable area, drag the yellow dots in each corner until the entire document is inside it.
4. Once you are happy with your choice, Click Save The scanned document will be saved to your gallery.
How to scan text on Samsung phones or tablets
If you just want to extract text from a document instead of saving a scan of it, you can do that with your camera as well.
1. Launch the Camera app and then Point the lens at the document you want to scan. A yellow box should appear around the document.
2. To scan the document, Click on the yellow “T” icon.and then Click Extract Text above the picture.
3. Currently, Click on the text you want to extract. To select it all, tap Select All. Once finished, Click Copy to copy the text. You can now exit the Camera app with the text stored safely in your clipboard.
4. Paste the text into an app like Office Or anywhere else you want to use it.
