With Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premiering on November 11, 2022, LEGO celebrates the legacy of Chadwick Boseman’s portrayal of King T’Challa in the original 2018 movie with a life-size bust of 76215 Black Panther. At 2,961 pieces, the giant bust is the first of its kind for a LEGO Marvel theme, and you’ll be able to display it in either a standard pose or the very appropriate “Wakanda Forever” cross-arm pose.

Life-size LEGO 76215 Black Panther Bust will be available to order Starting tonight Sep 30 / Oct 1 at 9 PM PT / 12 AM EDT Here in the LEGO Store Priced at $349.99. When complete, the statue will measure 18 inches tall x 20 inches wide x 11 inches deep. It will be launched alongside several other large LEGO sets, including the 7411 Super Mario The Mighty Bowser.

As noted, the bust of Black Panther appears as a tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman before Wakanda Forever, who has the difficult task of continuing the story without him. Shuri Laetitia Wright is in the driver’s seat this time, and I spoke to her recently diverse On how the movie honors Boseman:

“It’s an incredible honor for Chadwick Boseman,” she said. “It’s a jam full of exciting stuff. In November, he couldn’t have come sooner, so I’m excited to see you guys.”

Wright continued: “We honored him with our commitment to the story he started, the legacy he started with this franchise, and we committed every day to working hard no matter what the circumstances we faced. We faced a lot of circumstances. A. A lot of difficult situations, but we came together as a team. We put everything in this movie.”
