The director of Dominion Jurassic World admits that Jurassic Park may not have needed sequels

When Jurassic Park Released in the ’90s, it instantly made things a franchise that wasn’t the first kind studios would consider, especially with the Steven Spielberg movies. As Dr. Malcolm says, Life has found a way, and five sequel parts for an adaptation of Michael Crichton have been released over the past three decades as the franchise has grossed more than $6 billion at the global box office. and last, Jurassic World Dominion, represents the climax of everything before it, bringing together the old and new actors into one. Although it was a big Universal movie, and sixth in the entire franchise, director Colin Trevorrow kind of admitted that all of these sequels shouldn’t exist.

“I did something specifically different from the other films in order to change the DNA of the franchise,” Trevorrow revealed to empire. “The previous five movies are plots about dinosaurs. This movie is a story about characters in a world where they coexisted with dinosaurs. And for the franchise to move forward—because it’s inherently non-voting, there might have been only one Jurassic Park—but If we’re going to do that, how can I allow them to tell stories in a world where there are dinosaurs, otherwise there’s another reason to go to the island?”

Trevorrow went to note that he hadn’t thought of it Jurassic World Dominion The last movie in the series, he revealed he didn’t know it was until he saw it being used in marketing. He added, “For me I think it would have been clearer if they had said, ‘End of an era,’ unlike all that. Because no matter what the cynical approach – of course they would want to make more money, which is what Jurassic World was all about.”

The director has continued to stress his feelings that the series will undoubtedly continue at some point, although again he seems to confirm that he will not be on top of what the next movie will become. Trevorrow revealed, “What I’m excited about is, if a table was set here for another mind to do what you did with Steven [Spielberg] And sit down and say, “Listen, I have an idea,” I’d like that person to sit with me, or Stephen, and say, “I get it!”
