Each player of the game begins to generate massive amounts of carbon emissions, which are generated in unique ways based on the global power they control. With emissions increasing, players will have to flip crisis cards which add more complexities and force players to make difficult decisions. Likes pandemic, Daybreak is full cooperation and requires players to work together if they want a chance to win.

One important piece of Daybreak is that it is made using sustainable ingredients. In addition, CYMK will donate $1 to each supporter of leading environmental and climate justice nonprofits.
