Black Panther 2: Why is Marvel still keeping T’Challa’s successor in Wakanda a secret forever?

.’s latest trailer Black Panther: Wakanda Forever It’s here, and while it’s still leaving plenty of details behind the curtain, it’s officially confirming a few important things. The sequel will introduce the new Black Panther, in which we see a person in familiar armor, from head to toe, and that the new Black Panther is a woman.

We never see what’s behind the mask, so we don’t know who this new Black Panther is, but the fact that it’s going to be a woman seems to strongly suggest that the new Black Panther will turn out to be exactly who many people think it will be. But if that’s the case, why bother keeping it a secret? Unless, of course, this whole thing is wrong and it turns out that the new Black Panther isn’t who we think it will be at all.
