Houston’s first-ever professional pickleball tournament swings into Memorial Park!

Houston, Texas — Is blackball more fun to watch, like baseball, or more fun to play, like softball? Houstonians can think about these questions when the first-ever professional pickleball tournament hosted in Bayou comes to town in October.

The APP Sunmed Houston Open Swings at Memorial Park October 19-23. Showcasing some of the world’s best pickleball players, the tournament features action in the Pro, Senior and Amateur sections.

Registration to participate in the APP Sunmed Houston Open Golden Ticket qualification for amateurs and professionals, which promises a $60,000 prize purse, is open until October 10 and can be found Online. Most importantly, interested players must register as a member of USA Pickleball if they are not currently registered with the organization.
