The Xbox is an odd console as it was made by Microsoft, so a lot of games that were exclusive to Xbox were also available on PC. This list mainly consists of real, exclusive games, but many of them will also be on PC.
These are the Xbox exclusives that have managed to pop up and create a fairly successful series overall. Some of the featured games have had their ups and downs, but they still manage to create some of the most memorable ones.
10/10 Saints row
The first Saints Row game was an Xbox 360 exclusive. It very much felt like a replica of the Grand Theft Auto games but without many of the extras that the Grand Theft Auto model offered. After that, the games in the series slowly began to build their own identity which was much more ridiculous and much less dangerous than Grand Theft Auto.
The bad thing about Saints Row is that its games tend to be hit or miss. Some, like the original Saints Row The Third, are stunning, but some leave a pungent taste in the hearts of many fans.
9/10 the blue Dragon
The Blue Dragon had a lot of talents that supported him in the beginning. It was made by one of the game designers at Square Enix right after he left, with two other people who helped make the Chrono Trigger. The combat is fairly simple when you start the game, but then the different layers slowly peel off as the game progresses.
As the series continued, two more games were released, ending with Blue Dragon Awakened Shadow as the last game released on the DS and having some of the best fights in the series. The franchise contains some single entries; Some have big, faded combat stories, while others have mediocre combat and great stories.
8/10 middle dance
Dance Central was originally released for the Xbox 360 and used the Kinect camera for single or multiple players to be able to dance to different songs. This game revolutionized the dance game genre as Nintendo’s Just Dance made the only track a console could pick up from Wii remotes.
Since then, the franchise has evolved beyond its first form with four additional games in the series, adding more features, and eventually making its way to being an Xbox exclusive with Dance Central (2019) on Oculus.
7/10 myth
The first Fable game was an important part of the Xbox brand. It was a different game in its presentation and was based largely on its two choices. The game mainly relied on the player’s choice to be good or evil, and it was fun to see the character and story based on the moral choices the player decided to make.
Fable 3 takes the concept of choice even further by not only choosing between good or evil, but also by setting the player on the campaign path to become the next queen or king of that land. The series continues to expand, with Fable 4 already in development.
6/10 Alan Wake
Alan Wake offers some of the best storytelling in games, which is why the game received a remake as well as why Alan Wake was released in 2023. The initial game focuses on the crime fiction author’s wife who goes missing in a small moment. The town, and as the game progresses, intertwines with the player in a deep web of supernatural mystery.
The gameplay offered is also unique in that the player must use light to his advantage to defeat the enemies. It is a great game with a lot to come in the series as it has been remastered for many other consoles and PCs as well. With the inclusion of DLC related to Alan Wake in Remedy’s Control, it looks like this franchise is ready to explode again.
5/10 left 4 Dead game
Left 4 Dead runs as Microsoft Windows and Xbox exclusive, but Xbox 360 is Microsoft, and the game has been a huge hit on Xbox 360. The game still has some of the best multiplayer zombie games going as it allows up to four people to take on waves of zombies in creative ways. While crossing large and complex levels.
The series expanded further with Left 4 Dead 2 on Steam, as it had a very large mod community that made creative things like Disneyland as a map.
4/10 bioshock
While many people may have played BioShock for the first time on PlayStation 3, the game was actually released a year earlier on Xbox 360. Initially, the game had no plans to port to any other system, but it was a huge success. Just a year later, the game was released on PlayStation 3.
Two blockbuster series were released in the ensuing years amplifying the franchise’s bizarre and tortuous journey. BioShock has won the hearts of many thanks to its incredible work and world-class determination.
3/10 Tom Clancy’s splinter cell
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell was a true stealth game that required players to hide every corpse they killed or face the wrath of the guards and get them killed. It is a game that requires a lot of patience, skill and accuracy of movement, which is why fans loved it so much.
Over the years since, the games in the series have evolved the way stealth targets can be approached and continue to expand the stealth genre. The franchise has been on the ice for quite some time now, but with a remake of the first game on the horizon, many fans are hoping this will lead to a resurgence of the franchise.
2/10 war equipment
Gears of War provided a unique alien combat journey. Some people were initially on the fence because they thought the game would be a steal from Halo, but it ended up being a game with an enrichment cover system to combat. This system made the battles seem more tense.
The franchise has gone through many iterations, even delving into turn-based strategy with Gears Tactics and mobile games with Gears Pop! With the latest released major series game, Gear of War 5, it has not ceased to disappoint players with its storyline or multiplayer.

Halo is by far the most famous series that was exclusive to Xbox and part of what made Xbox so popular. The release of Halo 2 only made things better because it allowed online play, which was not present in the original Halo. The online play unlocked many hours of fun for the series.
Some of the Halo games have not been seen by fans in the most fond light, but the latest one, Halo Infinite, has managed to make up for it by including a storyline that was as exceptional as some of the initial games. It also made for a fun multiplayer game that added some modern touches to combat while still having a distinctly Halo feel.
